Healthy Chili and YUM!

My family LOVES chili so I have made several recipes over the years and everyone seems to enjoy this one the best....plus it's good for you!  ;)

What you will need:
2 pounds of ground turkey, chicken or lean beef
1 large red onion, diced
2 celery stalks, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 bell pepper, diced
1 yellow pepper, diced
1 red pepper, diced
4 baby zucchini, chopped
3 medium size carrot sticks, chopped
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can black beans
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can light kidney beans
4 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1/4 to 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (depending on how spicy you want your recipe your measurements will vary)
2 tablespoons oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon basil
1 cup vegetable stock

What you need to do:

Saute all raw veggies except for the beans and tomatoes. Remove.

Brown meat.

Get a huge pot as this makes a lot.

Now add everything to this pot.

Stir.

Simmer on low for a few hours or add it to a crock pot and cook for 4-6 hours on low.

Enjoy.   :)
