I have many roles, a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a
friend, and a health coach.
My life was not always trouble-free. I grew up with many
cruel moments in my home. The same struggles and similar encounters seemed to
follow me later into my early adulthood.
From all of these issues it caused me to become prone to
having anxiety, panic attacks, and depression.
These issues also caused me to lose track of what was most
important. Myself.
Yep, I said it. MYSELF.
I know most people are probably thinking, “How selfish of
her to think of herself!”
Let me elaborate.
Without your health both mentally and physically nothing else will
matter. Without “yourself” how would you take care of your family, your home,
or succeed at anything in life?
My life was chaotic so I had succumb to taking
anxiety medication and I really wasn’t taking care of myself at all…not eating
right, not sleeping right, smoking, not exercising. I was a mess.
You can read about what a mess I was, in my
blog titled, “My Wake-up Call”
So here is a short version on my words of wisdom from my own
experiences.
YOU have to come first. YOU are important. YOU deserve
exceptional health!
There is absolutely no substitute for a daily regimen of
healthy activity and a diet consisting of nutritiously dense foods.
If you truly want to live a long, harmonious and prosperous
life then you must be willing to do the work it takes to attain it. Don’t let yourself come last!
There is no magic pill. There is no easy solution. It takes
dedication, hard work, and planning.
Everything valued in life is always earned. Do you value your
health and well-being and that of your family?
If your answer is yes, then read more of my blogs - I'll be offering health tips and tricks, recipes, and some exercise advice. :)
xoxo

Before & After |
This is my simple
religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our
own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.
